One day on a beautiful
island a golden puppy was born. You could see he was very special from
the moment you laid eyes on him. His mother loved the puppy and hoped he
would find a wonderful family to share his life with.
His early days passed
quickly and he grew strong and healthy in the warm sun and fresh island
air. Soon it was time to leave his mother and become the dog he was
meant to be.
His new companion,
Antoinette, adored the golden puppy and named him Ohia, after the
Hawaiian legend of a handsome young man. She took very good care of Ohia
and he grew into a full grown dog. Soon he was attracting the attention
of all the ladies with his good looks and AKC pedigree. He is so smooth
he was nicknamed "Cary Grant".
Ohia is a
true Red with a shinny coat, bright eyes, and a fantastic personality.
He has fathered several litters, all of them as healthy and happy as he
is. Today Ohia lives in
Colorado and as you can see from his pictures, he is just as good
looking as ever.
