Shipping costs depend on destination. A travel kennel is required and is your financial responsibility as well as all shipping costs.

We will only ship in compliance with all restrictions and/or guidelines established by the commercial carrier for the shipment of live animals.  We WILL NOT ship any puppy through "Freight" or "Cargo".

We are very familiar with shipping procedures and can help you through the process.  We are experienced in shipping our own animals and can assure you that your puppy will be safe and comfortable.

About Shipping Live Animals

A few airlines will allow us to secure the flight over the phone via credit card, but most only accept payment when we show up at the airport, just in case weather conditions do not permit flight. I will verify this when we work out the details and airline arrangements. Any and all shipping cost are the responsibility of the adoptive family.

Airports will not ship live animals during extreme cold or hot weather. Therefore, I will not be shipping at night (during winter months) and I can’t reserve tickets more than three days in advance because of weather forecast limitations.

The airlines are very particular as to the type of shipping crate, labeling, absorbent material in the crate, food, paperwork, etc.  I will do all I can to insure that everything goes smoothly for your puppy’s flight to you.  We will come to a mutual understanding before shipping as to the flight time, flight number, and any other issues.

Flying is not traumatic for the puppies as some people believe. Airline attendants check on them regularly and make sure they have food and water, so they are not alone.  They are so adorable that they receive quite a bit of attention. We will also put a towel in with them that carries the smell of their mother to help with the transition.

The separation from their mother is a required step in the growing up process and an airline flight is no more traumatic than the necessary growl and bark she gives them during the weaning stage.  We schedule flights with no more than one layover and minimize layover times as much as possible. We will use a direct flight whenever possible.

Please contact me if you have any other questions or concerns.
